Haryana, Oyo sign MoU to offer employment in Europe to state’s youths

Indian hotel aggregator Oyo has signed a memorandum of understanding with Shri Vishwakarma Skill University and other organisations to create job opportunities in the European hospitality sector. Under the deal, Vishwakarma will provide training and certificates for young people registered with the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam Limited, ahead of employment. Oyo will offer apprenticeships in the vacation home business, which will provide experience in international hospitality.

At least 3 killed, 7 wounded in blast at hotel in Afghanistan

KABUL, Aug 14 (Reuters) - At least three people were killed and seven wounded on Monday in an explosion at a hotel in southeast Afghanistan's Khost province, the province's media office said. The cause of the blast was not immediately clear though the region, near the border with Pakistan, has long been plagued by violence between Islamist militants and their enemies.
